The issue I was having was related to the limited SRAM of the Arduino Uno. With WSL toolchain set up for your project, you can build using a toolchain from Linux, and run/debug on WSL. Currently, it supports several Linux distributions, such as Ubuntu, OpenSUSE, and SLES. However, STM32CubeMX projects are not limited to be used with OpenOCD only: you can also set up a more generic Embedded GDB Server run/debug. WSL ( WSL 2) Windows Subsystem for Linux is a compatibility layer for running Linux binary executables natively on Windows 10 and later. For this reason, project settings and certain steps of the project creation procedure are coupled with OpenOCD. clang-format is integrated into CLion as an alternative code formatter. STM32CubeMX support in CLion is a part of the bundled OpenOCD + STM32CubeMX plugin. ![]() Open the Applications folder and launch the CLion installer. ![]() Open the downloaded CLion-.dmg package and drag CLion to the Applications folder. Simavr would be fine I would guess, so long as it allows me to step through the program and check variable values and whatever else in memory. eso es lo que me dice, sera que no es compatible con. Download the latest release or EAP version of CLion for macOS (earlier versions are available on the Previous CLion Releases page). ![]() Note: I happened to figure out the issue with my code without a debugger, however I think it would have certainly been helpful to have that tool at my disposal. To run a specific target in the debugger, create a configuration as above, using the bazel run command. ![]()
